KZSU turned 60 on January 6, 2007. To celebrate we will be having a 60 hour marathon, one hour for each year we've been on the air.

the "Rules" (for music DJs):

Sports, news and talk programming will also be on to celebrate the appropriate years during the 60th Anniversary Special.

Alumni DJs
Efforts will be made to get KZSU alumni DJs back to DJ for some of the years they were on the air.

Press
There is a press release for the event in text or pdf form. Appropriate contact information is in the press release if you would like to contact us about doing a story.

The Palo Alto Daily News ran a front page story. The Metro Silicon Valley also ran a story. Brad Kara in the San Jose Mercury News mentioned the Marathon at the end of his column. Palto Alto Online ran a story. The Stanford Daily recapped the event afterwards with an article, as did the Stanford Magazine.
